Exhibition at Galerie Art’Lim, Limoges
I am delighted to announce that two new works from my Three Colours, Six Shapes series are currently on display at the Galerie Art’Lim in Limoges.
The exhibition features Hex, a limited-edition screen print, alongside Hex Dance, a large-scale oil painting measuring 135 × 135 cm. Together, these works explore a visual language built from a recurring square-and-circle motif, investigating the relationship between colour, transparency and form.
Developed using only three colours and six repeating shapes, the series examines how overlapping layers create new optical experiences, generating complexity and movement from a deliberately reduced visual system. While Hex establishes the formal structure of the series through the precision of screen printing, Hex Dance expands the investigation on a larger scale through the luminosity and depth of oil paint.
June 2nd to 22nd August
Both works can be viewed from June 2nd to 22nd August at Galerie Art’Lim, a contemporary exhibition space in the heart of Limoges. The gallery presents a diverse programme of work by regional and contemporary artists and has become an important destination for art lovers visiting the city.
